The staff was incredibly kind and went out of their way to accommodate us, even preparing an early breakfast for our train. While the dining options were decent, I wished for a bit more variety. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with lovely upper-class furnishings and a comfortable air conditioning system. I especially enjoyed the large veranda with comfy outdoor seating, which is quite rare in Colombo. However, I did have a concerning experience with one staff member who was inappropriate, which was quite unsettling. Overall, it's a great spot for a comfortable stay with a few bumps along the way.
